The pictures shown I took in Italy from 6 April 2008
until 12 April 2008. I spend these days in what is called the
Cinque Terre, five lovely villages in
Liguria on the coast of the Mediterranean. In general, the weather was
bad, accept on 6 and 7 April, and on 12 April in the afternoon which had a bit
of sunshine. The other days were
gray with a lot of rain. This had some
disadvantages, of course, but the rain coloured the buildings, the flowers, and
the vegetation, with fine
saturated hues which could sometimes be contrasted
with the grays of the sky. For a photographer there is no bad weather, only bad
cloths and bad equipment.
Besides my Nikon D200 camera, my equipment consisted of the following lenses:
Nikkor AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8 G ED N
Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G IF-ED DX
Micro-Nikkor AF-S 105mm f/2.8 G IF-ED VR
Furthermore, because of the bad weather most pictures were taken on a tripod.
