I took pictures in the US from 1 to 9 November, 2011. On two days I was at Stanford University, according to some people the most beautiful campus of the US. I hope that my pictures contribute to that idea. I also went to The Dish, a small conservation area not far from Stanford and managed by Stanford University, with a radio telescope at its center. On four days I went to the California coastline, first at Santa Cruz, then at San Fransisco, and on two consecutive days to Monterey and to the coast of Big Sur, the coast south of Monterey.
Besides my Nikon D200 camera and a tripod, my equipment consisted of the following lenses:
Nikkor AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED N
Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED
Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II
Micro-Nikkor AF-S 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR.
